Course Reflection
Intro to Postproduction expanded my understanding of how editing and sound design shape the overall storytelling process in film and video production. Throughout the class, I learned how audio, pacing, rhythm, visuals, and workflow all work together to create a polished and emotionally effective final product. I gained hands-on experience with Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Audition while developing projects that included interviews, B-roll, soundscapes, and full edits using industry-style production and postproduction workflows. The course also strengthened my problem-solving, organization, and creative decision-making skills while helping me develop a stronger editing style and a deeper appreciation for the technical and artistic side of postproduction.
