During my Content Strategy course at Full Sail University, I gained valuable insights into the strategic process behind effective content creation. I learned how to go beyond simply generating ideas and instead approach content with a purpose—targeting specific audiences, aligning messaging with brand goals, and maintaining consistency across platforms. One of the most impactful skills I developed was crafting content that not only engages but also drives measurable results, such as increased web traffic, higher conversion rates, and deeper audience connection.
The course also deepened my understanding of how data and research inform content decisions. I became more confident in using audience personas, content audits, and competitive analysis to guide the creative process. Additionally, learning to map content across the customer journey helped me ensure that every piece of content had a clear role, whether it was to attract, educate, or convert. These skills have significantly sharpened my approach to content strategy, allowing me to create with intention and deliver meaningful value to both brands and their audiences.

Personal Revision
During my Content Strategy course at Full Sail University, I gained valuable knowledge into the process behind effective content creation. I learned how move beyond just blindly generating ideas and actually approach content development with a purpose using audience targeting and by  aligning my messaging with brand goals. 

The course also deepened my understanding of how data and research inform content decisions. I gained a deeper appreciation of mapping content more strategically and allowing me to create and deliver meaningful content and messaging to my target audience.


Personal Reflection
The use of an AI generator like ChatGPT can be very useful in creating content or helping generate thoughts with a simple entry of a few key prompt.  The downside to using AI is that oftentimes, even if you ask AI to change the tone of your content, it is usually devoid of any real human emotion.  A lot of the content is matter-of-fact, and oftentimes it can seem very academic or dry.  In order to make the content really yours, you almost have to edit it to give the content the right tone to fit in with your own personal tone or "voice".  It is my belief that AI will never be a totally infallible solution for content creation, but more of tool that will help guide you into creating more dynamic content, especially if you have run out of ideas or need content generated quickly without much thought.

"X Marks The Spot!" - to unveil Spacex live

paceX, founded by Elon Musk in 2002, is a private aerospace company transforming space travel with reusable rockets and bold plans for Mars colonization. It developed the Falcon 9 and Starship rockets, launched the first commercial spacecraft to the ISS, and partners with NASA on missions like Artemis. Through its Starlink satellite network, SpaceX also delivers global internet access, pushing the boundaries of innovation on Earth and beyond.

SpaceX Live is a service that will be hosted and operated solely by SpaceX and streamed 24/7 live on X (Formerly known as Twitter), Twitch, and through its YouTube channel.  Based on the research that has been conducted over the past 2 weeks, we have determined that our primary target audience is males in middle to upper income households who are professionals, are tech savvy, have an interest in space technology and space an astronomy, and who reside in the United States.  Our secondary target audience is American school aged children (K-12th Grade) as well as school educators who have a vested interest in STEM education for the purpose of increasing interest in the SpaceX brand and educating our target audiences in the rapid advances made by SpaceX in the space technology industry sector.

We have selected X as one of the platforms to stream the 24/7 broadcast because X is the official online home of SpaceX due to the social media company being owned by SpaceX CEO Elon Musk.  X has a wide user base which spans across all age groups and generations and appeals to those who are more tech savvy.  We will broadcast on Twitch and promote more of our educational content because Twitch is used by the Gen Z and Gen Alpha population, where many of them follow their favorite streamers and influencers and tend to be younger in age than the typical Twitch user.  We will also primarily stream on YouTube to tap into the millions of fans and supporters who actively watch and engage in SpaceX launch opportunities through other social media channels.  This will be a way to capture those individuals viewership, and we will be able to provide exclusive content to our viewers that other social media channels on YouTube cannot provide because of limitations of where the media and press are allowed to film while around SpaceX facilities, giving SpaceX a clear advantage and ability to provide content that is fresh, new, and exciting, and only exclusively offered by SpaceX.

Below is a sample of the content from our Social Media Content Calendar that will be posted on X (Formerly known as Twitter) to announce the launch of SpaceX Live.  This content is engaging, and provides a fun and unique way of generating interest leading up to the official launch of SpaceX Live at an undisclosed date.

SpaceX Live To Engage The Masses

It developed the Falcon 9 and Starship rockets, launched the first commercial spacecraft to the ISS, and partners with NASA on missions like Artemis. Through its Starlink satellite network, SpaceX also delivers global internet access, pushing the boundaries of innovation on Earth and beyond.

The introduction of SpaceX live brings a new dimension to how SpaceX engages with customers, fans, and everyone interested in aviation and aerospace technology.  While there are a number of 24/7 live streams that cover SpaceX, the company itself does not own or operate its own dedicated 24/7 live stream.  SpaceX has a heavy presence online through its YouTube channel and accounts, which provide content specific to promoting the company and its operations, SpaceX will have the ability to connect with an even broader audience by providing youth specific content that promotes education and learning centered around the fast paces and ever evolving space technology industry, spearheaded by SpaceX and its advancements.

Statistics support that there would be a heavy support and success in launching a SpaceX hosted 24/7 online live streaming service either through its YouTube channel or X, which I believe Elon Musk would prefer to have it hosted on due to his ownership of the company.  Many of the viewers of live streamed SpaceX launch events tend to be tech savvy, interested in aviation technology, and keep up with current pop culture, something that SpaceX has been able to successfully tap into.

NASA and the ESA (European Space Agency) are the only space agencies in the world, though government funded, to have a dedicated 24/7 live stream channel outside of its regular content posted to social media sites such as Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube, which provide educational content as well as broadcasting their live launch events.  I believe that SpaceX would be able to capitalize by introducing its own to broaden its support base and place an even heavier emphasis on education.

Hi!  my name is Kayamone and this is the blog I have created for my assignments at Full Sail University!  I am currently completing my bachelors degree in Digital Marketing, currently hold a 4.0 GPA, and will be graduating with my degree in November of 2026.  

For my Content Strategy, Development, and Marketing course, I chose to focus on SpaceX for my brand selection.  I chose SpaceX because I have a deep interest in space and aviation, and SpaceX is a brand that needs no introduction.  They are the leaders and pioneers in creating autonomous space launch vehicles, and is the most successful commercial space agency that has ever existed.  They have performed many feats using their launch vehicles that are unrivaled, even by NASA.  SpaceX is leading the way in making humankind interplanetary through use of it Starship.​​​​​​​

In this course, I hope to learn more about content creation so that I can continue to build upon my content creation skills to be used for my business, K Sutton Enterprises, and learn other skills that will build upon my own personal brand identity.
